NLS 8 and 9: Successful Races at the Weekend

Having already secured class victory at the 6-hour race in August, the ZIMMERMANN- BLACK FALCON Team built seamlessly on this success at NLS 8 on Saturday. During the first stint, Alexander Hardt, Benjamin Hites and Benjamin Koslowski took the lead in the CUP2 class in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup #900 and safely held on to it until the end of the four-hour race.

The ZIMMERMANN - BLACK FALCON Team were also in contention for class victory at Sunday’s NLS 9. Although Alexander Hardt, Benjamin Hites and Benjamin Koslowski were narrowly beaten by a fellow driver from the same manufacturer during the ‘rain roulette’ in the closing stages, the team still secured 18 vital points in the battle for the PETN Championship with their second place and the fastest lap of the race; as a result, the BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN has now taken the lead following the ‘double-header’. However, the lead at the top of the table is a mere 1.5 points, meaning the title will not be decided until the NLS season finale on 10 October.
