Back on Top: Vicotry at the 6-Hour Race at the Nürburgring

Team Zimmermann makes a Strong Statement in the Fight for the PETN Championship

After some bad luck in the last NLS race, BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN made an impressive comeback to the top of the CUP2 class in the 6-hour race. Alexander Hardt, Benjamin Hites, and Benjamin Koslowski started the race from second on the grid in the #900 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and took the lead as early as the first stint. They held onto that lead all the way to the finish.

For the drivers, this victory was particularly emotional following the disappointment of an 8th-place finish in the previous race, and it also gives them a major confidence boost heading into the remaining three races of the season. In the 2026 PETN Championship, the BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN has narrowed the gap to the leader in the CUP2 class to just 4.5 points, as the victory in the 6-hour race was particularly valuable due to the 1.5x points multiplier.

Outlook

Christoph Henkel (Managing Director of BLACK FALCON): “The one-two finish in the CUP2 class gives us a lot of confidence heading into the PETN Championship, which is now entering its decisive phase. We hope to score similarly well at the double-header on September 12 and 13. We’ll definitely give it our all and be fully prepared.”
