Whether in Europe or North America, Otto Zimmermann GmbH is present at international trade fairs organized by various business partners. The main goal is to have direct exchange with workshops, technology enthusiasts, and sales partners. With diverse trade fair concepts and practice-oriented formats, the company is strengthening its position as a technical partner for high-quality brake parts in the independent aftermarket.
Close to customers – Worldwide
The trade fair season kicked off in January at AutoZum in Austria. Otto Zimmermann presented itself at the stand together with a local customer – a successful start to the trade fair year, with many trade visitors specifically seeking dialogue with the product experts. January also saw many interesting discussions in Frankfurt with over 300 conference participants.
Two events followed in April: At the AU2 trade fair in Denmark, which focuses particularly on workshops and vocational schools, Zimmermann clearly demonstrated the advantages of its compound brake discs – including cutaway product displays that show the connection between the friction ring and the hub in detail. The popular “brake disc challenge,” in which visitors tried to hold a brake disc weighing around 12 kg with outstretched arms, attracted additional attention and sparked good conversations.
At the same time, Otto Zimmermann was present in Canada at the in-house exhibition of a long-standing customer in Vancouver. The focus there was particularly on so-called “Sprinter Kits” – complete packages of brake discs and pads, tailored to vehicle manufacturer specifications. With a specially designed booth under the motto “Your Partner for Technical Expertise and Support” and digital technology access via QR code, the company once again demonstrated its claim as a solution provider.
The motto “Technical Expertise” was also received with interest at another event in the US and led to an interesting exchange with users.
Technical expertise and exchange in Eastern Europe
In May, Zimmermann continued the trade fair season with events in Romania and Hungary. At both in-house exhibitions, the focus was on personal contact with workshops. The aim was not only to discuss product specifics, but also to obtain valuable feedback from local users on the quality and performance of the brake components. In Romania, the trade fair was followed by a targeted training day for the partner's sales force – another example of the practical knowledge transfer that Zimmermann promotes worldwide.
Strong in the market – close to the customer
“Our presence at in-house exhibitions is more than just a product presentation. We want to talk to the workshops, listen, advise, and share our expertise. This proximity to our customers and their daily activities is a central component of our quality promise,” says the management of Otto Zimmermann GmbH.
